How will these Epstein Files be released if the senate has to vote yes? Are 13 senators going to flip? And how will it avoid a presidential veto? Or will it not matter by then? Explain please.

Tom T. Hall's "Pay No Attention to Alice" is ostensibly a sad song about some guy's wife's alcoholism and mental decline, yet it ends with said guy and his army buddy running out for another bottle of booze and driving their car into a ditch. Black humor. That's why I love Tom T. Hall.

Last night we went to a punk show at a fancy bar/restaurant in Taos. Ordered two glasses of wine. Check was $47.56. I did a double take and asked if they added the $10 per person cover, but no, each glass was $18 + $4 service charge ($22 per glass + tax). This is why we rarely leave the house.

Truly amazing that any time the democrats have to bite the bullet and do something that ruins countless lives, there's always *just* enough votes to get it done, but if there is a vote on something that would actually improve people's lives, they are always one vote short. Crazy how that happens.
