I have no proof that the Trump administration plans to abandon Ukraine and Europe entirely. I have no proof they intend to realign US international trade around Russia. But man, if that’s not the plan, I don’t know how else to explain what is going on right now.

I remember getting to 300 followers here and it felt pretty good as everybody I saw following was an actual individual who I could interact with. I’m at 375 now and, honestly, most of that 75 is probably bots.

Lot of repeat follows from “please help me” bot accounts.

Platinum #3,298 for The Last of Us Part I. The PS5 remaster has a much more manageable trophy list and it was fun reacquainting myself with the plot before tackling Part II (did t want to confuse it with events from the TV show).

Finger in the trigger well before he’s even out of the car. This guy was just itching to start squeezing off rounds and he’d worry about excuses after the fact.
Body cam from when Border Patrol shot a woman 5 times in Chicago last year. The agents have guns drawn and pointed. One says "do something b----." Then: "Time to get aggressive." Moments later, the driver can be seen swerving the car into hers, jumping out & firing almost immediately.

If I can choose Wilford Brimley as a playable character I’m in.

“Weirdest entry” is an accurate description. I’ve only played maybe 2/3 of the main Final Fantasy series, but 2 stands out for being an oddball in terms of gameplay.

This is like professional sports teams owners crying about losses when they’re actually printing money while sitting on an asset worth over a billion dollars.
In a city packed with mighty real estate titans, they are the small ones.

New York landlords say they are at their breaking point as Mayor Zohran Mamdani begins to implement even more aggressive tenant-friendly policies.
NYC’s small landlords say they won’t survive Mamdani plan to freeze rent
New York Mayor Zohran Mamdani has criticized landlords and vowed to freeze what tenants in rent-stabilized apartments pay monthly.

Dylan Cease got a $175 million contract. The Padres got two postseason berths in a killer division. The White Sox got 99 mediocre relief appearances by Steven Wilson and three prospects who have collectively amounted to squat.

Platinum #3,292 for Far Cry 3 Classic Edition. Been sitting on this one for far too long and I can see why many consider it still to be the best in the series. It’s definitely up there with 4 and 5, and this edition was pretty polished.

I would love to read a transcript of the Tigers trying to explain why their two time CYA winning pitcher should be paid 40% less than what he was asking.
BREAKING: Two-time reigning American League Cy Young winner Tarik Skubal won his arbitration case and will make $32 million this year, sources tell ESPN. Skubal’s bet to go for the largest salary ever in the arbitration system paid off, as he’ll make $13M more than Tigers argued.

Highlighting the speaker who stood in front of the Surprise mayor and told him to consider what the Mayor of Ohrdruf must’ve thought before he died by suicide: “He might have thought ‘how is this my fault I had no jurisdiction over this’ maybe he said ‘this site was not subject to local zoning.’”

Democrats want commonsense reform for ICE:

End the roving patrols and racial profiling.

Take accountability and abide by the same rules as local police.

Masks need to come off, body cameras need to stay on—no secret police in the United States of America.

In the fictional setting of Rifts, a long-running tabletop RPG published by Palladium Books, the soldiers of the Coalition States use equipment with stylized skulls specifically intended to sow terror. Their leader modeled their culture after Nazi Germany and is a full-blown fascist and xenophobe.
Fucking surreal that people dressed like this and carrying assault rifles are permitted to kidnap people off our streets

Makes sense, that’s what sick people eat.
some good news buried among the horrible behavior listed:

“The third woman said federal agents at her hotel are subsisting on microwavable bowls of Campbell’s chicken noodle soup, because it’s become so difficult for them to find restaurants willing to serve them.”
I visited hotels all over Minneapolis, went into back rooms & talked to the staff.

They're afraid.

One told me she resents how her undocumented coworkers spend their days cleaning the rooms of agents who are “hunting down their family members.”
