Looking for a Republican/conservative podcast to balance the Rachel Maddow Show. Rachel always lists verifiable facts when complaining about Republicans, but I can't find a conservative podcast that does the same. So far Drill Down was closest but 20 min in and they're spinning BS like the others.

So, let me get this straight: Schumer is going to cave to the false Republican claim that no deal can possibly be made while the government is shut down, as long as they "promise" to "vote" on extending tax credits in December...and he believes them. <sigh> Can we 𝘱𝘭𝘦𝘢𝘴𝘦 get rid of this guy already?

Factions have rendered US Congress corrupt beyond repair. Loyalty to the dear leader is required and there is no effective opposition in play. But the great news today is that No Kings and local Democrats like Gavin Newsom and Zohran Mamdani are sounding a loud wake up call. Turn up the volume!

We the people task Congress to make laws, oversee the Executive branch, and run the budget. Regardless of why, they are clearly incapable of performing their asigned duties. We have given them feedback, an improvement plan, and time to fix their flaws. It's now time to let them go. All. Of. Them.

Finding normal brand-name items on Amazon is becoming increasingly difficult. I've just about had it with all the re-sellers and knockoffs. Add to this all the old movies becoming pay-for-view on Prime Video and I'm seriously leaning toward quitting my use of this company.

Disinformation, misinformation, bologna. It's only getting worse; I'm becoming a disgruntled old man about it. Right, left, or in between: if you don't have the peer-reviewed academic source and/or scientific consensus to back up your belief then make the world better by keeping it to yourself.

I use Alexis and ChatGPT. I ask everything from "what's the best seasoning for salmon" to "did [insert celebrity] ever say anything considered racist." So far, I've learned that Alexis will happily pass on internet misinformation while ChatGPT will avoid directly answering. We need better options.
