NEW: Civil rights groups including the NAACP and the Lawyers’ Committee for Civil Rights Under Law asked a federal court to protect voters’ personal information after the FBI seized ballots and other election materials in a raid on a Fulton County, Georgia election hub last month.

The federal government should be expressly banned from copying or sharing the seized records, the groups said.
