This
Trump fawning over Mamdani just proves once again that Trump has absolutely no core values except his own power. He has no politics except his own popularity. He believes in nothing except feeling validated.

He just wanted to hang out with the new cool kid. Didn’t matter what Mamdani stood for.

All while Republicans allow healthcare costs to spiral out of control. Genius!
He's proposing this again today:

1. Take money away from insurance companies.

2. Give that money to the people.

3. The people can then buy their own insurance.

4. From, presumably, companies that sell insurance.

5. Which are also known as "insurance companies."

"World models are going to replace LLMs"

My question for the world of GEO products is how can you possibly keep up? And how am I supposed to confidently invest in a tool?

Seems like one of the squishiest parts of the AI bubble to me.

The first four graphs of this article are insane and each should be enough to warrant their own weeks long news cycles each. They would be if it was a dem in office. Gift article:

I said it on election night and I'll say it again, NYC is on this path now and Mamdani will be as popular as Wu when it's all said and done.
NEW: The first two years of Massachusetts' millionaire tax has raised $3 billion more than expected.

And rather than driving the rich away, IPS researchers found that the number of millionaires has *increased.*

Tax the rich. Greg Ryan in @bloomberg.com:

What's equally insane is that the press made this look like a done deal last night to try and nullify the reaction to it today ... In order to allow it to go through it seems?

8 Democrats join Senate GOP to approve deal to reopen the government. House members are heading back to DC to end the historic shutdown this week. https://cnn.it/4qRxpgX

Schumer and those who voted to reopen deserve to be ostracized from polite society, to say the least.
UPDATE: The Senate votes 53-47 to shoot down the Baldwin amendment to extend ACA funds for 1 year. A party-line vote with every Republican rejecting it.
An important vote in this series: Tammy Baldwin’s proposal to extend ACA expiring funds for 1 year. It’s structured as a motion to table (i.e. scrap it from the amendment tree). But it’ll show the appetite (or lack thereof) in the Senate to address this issue.

Come on, Charlie, let's reopen the government first and then we can totally hold a vote on healthcare. Promise!

I think this is what was most deeply felt on Tuesday night. Democrats are showing they are the party of the people because they're running candidates that best represent the constitutes they are running to serve.

They're not trying to force everyone to fit into a big orange mold.

I don't say this often, but I'm proud of NJ today.
Yeah, she’s running for a third straight Dem term when Dems posted the weakest presidential numbers they’d shown in the state since Bush running for reelection post 9/11, and she’s just trouncing. Even more impressive, TBH.
I still can't believe how much hand-wringing there was about Sherrill and she's winning by almost identical margins to Spanberger.
