Public owned grocery stores should be a mainstay in every community! This is how we help control prices and inflation in our food supply; this also addresses food deserts in areas that have a lack of healthy food options available to them.

Andrew Cuomo thinks its absurd for the city try to to own a grocery story while New York State owns three (!) ski resorts and Cuomo personally oversaw their operation, even heralding it in his state of the state address.

Islamaphobia is just as unacceptable as antisemitism, racism, homophobia, anti-trans bigotry. All of this hate against marginalized peoples should be laid to rest; we all need love, peace and respect in our lives.
The four Muslim members of Congress have put out a statement condemning the Islamophobic attacks on Mamdani.
But it shouldn’t just be on the Muslim electeds. Where is Hakeem Jeffries? Where is Chuck Schumer? Where is the caucus?
Shame on any Dem elected who is silent on this.

The reason I feel compelled to run as Non-Partisan (Independent) is, I do not feel that either Republican or Democratic parties are anti-war at all.
