I like this because it kinda implies that if batman one day decided to drop the bat shtick bane would just be chill with him
Bane doesn't have a personal grudge against Batman. Any stories that go down that road are selling the character short. Since he was a child, Bane had nightmares about a nightmarish bat creature. That plus wanting to rule Gotham are why he goes after Batman: to prove his strength and determination.
