RPGs don't need to have set in stone stat blocks. It is important to be able to be able to build a creature on the fly.
This is a hill I will gladly die on.

I have been running Linux full time for several years.
It used to require tinkering, but now everything just works.
No pop ups, no viruses, no bloat, just my system, my way.
Valve has done an amazing job in making it more compatible with everything.

One of the frustrating parts of being indie is when you realise that you can't wear all the hats, but you really need to wear all the hats.

Hexes are better than squares and all my games make use of a hex system, either baked into the rules or just defaulting to it for maps.
I am however working on a game that uses squares. Not because it works for the game, but because I am trying to convert D&D payers.

Earth released the Winter update yesterday and I have opinions.
Everything is too bright! To many white textures.
The "Cold" global modifier is uncomfortable and the "Slippery" terrain modifier is making people drive like idiots.
Overall, I rate it 2/10, just release the zombie DLC already

I am trying to get miniatures into my LGS and there is a US company that makes the game I like.
Recently I asked my LGS to ask their distro to reach out, and the response was disappointing.
This company was not willing to work with Canadians unless they order far more than is reasonable.

Halloween should be a stat holiday. It is clearly the best holiday and letting people take the day off work means less traffic and safer streets for kids on the day when they are encouraged to dress up and act like kids.

Going straight back to work on Monday doesn't give time to recover and there is a ton of work to prepare for the next con.
