Last weekend, a passerby noticed a dog locked in a vehicle that was parked in New Westminster. It was 22°C, but with the car in direct sunlight, the temperature inside was much higher. The dog was in obvious distress.

Driver thought he’d made a clean getaway from a roadblock back in May. But he ran into the Transit Police Enforcement Team at Scott Road Station yesterday with several violations, including open alcohol & cannabis and having no insurance, to add to the ones from May. $2,531 in fines & vehicle towed.

Yesterday, @transitpolicebc.bsky.social with our Chief Muir, CSO, and K9 members attended the Flag-raising day to show our support to our Filipino community and in remembrance of the lives lost at Lapu Lapu. It was raining hard, but I only saw big hearts and the indomitable spirit of the community.
