Ok I read all the way up to Ghost Story, the only bad Dresden Files audio book, because they couldn't get Marsters for it. I've gone through all of these like 6 times before, let's see if I have a different opinion this time.

My personal theory of what causes HPPD; I don't think it's actually something that's "new". I think psilocybin is so good at breaking your patterns of thought that it can also break some of your more complex visual processes that are unique to every person.
I've also experienced HPPD once before tho so I can verify the reality of it, and personally it did not really effect me as much as it does a lot of other people.
It effects some people very hard though, and for this reason I cannot recommend anyone take psilocybin.

This isn't to say I'm telling anyone not to take it, I'm saying that perhaps you should take some consideration into what you decide to put into your body (like with every new drug).
