I have wondered what the feel and vibe of B/X / OSR games might be like but if you also included the concept of feats and ability score increases ala 3/3.5 D&D. I know Shadowdark does something like this with the class features every other level and DCC could do it with the "quest for it" mentality.

Took first place tonight at my local #PremodernMtG event tonight. 16 players, didn't drop a game in bracket. I ghouled a couple of people on turn 1, it was glorious. The deck feels so smooth right now. Deck pic tomorrow.
