Bitterleaf’s Tiger sniffs the rose and some new toys (and a capy pet for my wife!). I’m so glad the rinse glass fits both our friends. The tea is tasty, sweet and floral but not so much my wife hates it. GONGDAOBEI is my favorite new word(s?) and teaware, gaiwan fits perfectly to get the most out. 🍂

In hospice waiting for my dad who was my primary abuser to pass. I’m really thankful for my work in therapy letting me meet my mom with good will to help her through this. It’s been a heavy week, but a healing one. Real tired though. Brain feels like it’s ran a marathon.

I came to Minneapolis to report on what's going on, and one of the main questions I showed up with is "just what is the scale of the resistance?" After all, we're all used to the news calling Portland a "war zone" or whatever when it's just some protests in one part of town.

Tea delivery day hype. Wanted to get a better tea pick, and had heard good things about Bitterleaf so I grabbed a few cakes and cups to go with it. It’s been a very 2026 kind of week, so this was a nice surprise to see show up.

Trying out some tea goodies my wife got me for Xmas! I had every intention of getting the gong fu going but then the toddler woke up. One day I’ll be able to feed my new tea pet. Doing the oolong up now. Super tasty.
