I got to play this and it fucking rules. The ambiance, the music, the ingots that may be shat (I shat none sadly) and the dread are all so potent. Loved the gameplay and weight it carried. Can’t wait for full release. This could be the present for today Dale Cooper was talking about.

Finished up Dragon Quest 7 just in time to still play 1&2’s remake on release day 🙌 7 was really cute (and occasionally heartbreaking) that was great despite overstaying its welcome and not respecting people’s time occasionally with lot of “run back and forth for 30 minutes”. Still a masterpiece.

Been one of those crummy weeks where plans don’t work out, depression is going off, and the littles don’t let rest or sleep happen. Maybe some real tasty tea from @white2tea.bsky.social and The Hobbit with the kids will help turn it around.There’s less fall movies for kids than you’d expect or hope

This week was pretty great. Final fantasy music with my son, disc golf with an old friend, great Japanese food and AFI playing some of my favorite songs tonight with my wife for her birthday. Hell yeah.

I got to play disc golf for the first time in 20 years with one of my closest friends I hadn’t seen in forever. It was a great day. Only lost one disc (it was Halloween themed, felt like whoever found it would get a cool treat) and the King almost drowned in the moat I didn’t see but I did it!

I’ve been chasing away the depressies with nostalgia in the form of JRPGs. Too excited for Final Fantasy Tactics remake (a top 5 of all time) so I decided to load this up. I have become comically bad over the years and learned there was no permadeath after the first mission. Strategically stunted.
