I followed VB for a long time on twitter but when Albo won, she wasn’t able to see any fault in ALP and was very snarky about any criticisms. That stupid argument that - if you vote against one party, it must be vote for another - lack of open mindedness.

I can understand people’s wish for ‘an eye for an eye’ form of justice, but advocating state sanctioned violence is not, in my view, an answer.

No idea why media still depicts Nats as a farmers party. They are a mining party beholden to coal and gas interests and funded by Gina Rinehart. When there is a conflict between farmers and fossil fuels, they always back fossil fuels. Their opposition to wind is to protect fossil fuels for longer.

The people congratulating the ALP for not caring about genocide really tell on themselves.
They are the lot who would prefer the ALP now be even more LNP out of fear the party will lose seats in 2028 if it uses this win to do things in the ALP platform.
