Bon dia (terraplanistes 🙂)! Els astres són esfèrics perquè la gravetat actua igual en totes direccions, atraient la matèria cap al centre. Quan un cos té prou massa, la pressió interna supera la rigidesa del material i força la forma esfèrica, l’estat més estable energèticament.

Bon dia! Les cames dels mussols semblen curtes per una raó, estan amagades sota un plomatge dens i esponjós. Aquest cobreix gran part del cos i per això sembla que tinguin les cames molt curtetes quan en realitat les tenen llargues i fortes.

Broad-band seismometers of the EPYSIM project in NE Spain have recorded the passage of surface seismic waves orbiting the Earth. At least five passages have been identified in each sense, meaning that seismic waves are still detected after traveling more than 200,000 km. @geo3bcn-csic.bsky.social

Comparing the amplitudes of the mag 8.8 and mag 7.4 Kamchatka earthquakes at a @GEO3BCN_CSIC broad-band seismic station located in NE Spain. Amplitudes for today's earthquake are almost 6 times larger.
