I posted earlier about the damage to our yard. Now we’re looking around the neighborhood. It’s nuts. Here’s a typical scene. Note the stop sign at a 45° angle, and the tree above it snapped in two. I know nothing about weather, but does this look like a typical “windstorm“ to you all? 🤷♂️

Trees in our backyard uprooted; furniture toppled; heavy planters overturned. Palm Springs is definitely getting clobbered by Round 2 of this four-day storm. Thinking of my friends in the area; please stay safe. 🙏
As expected, a line of heavy rain & gusty winds is moving through LA this AM. Torrential downpours will bring urban/street flooding & locally more serious flash flooding (in steep terrain/burn areas). A few damaging wind gusts or even a brief/weak tornado is also possible. #CAwx
