Marjorie Taylor Greene and Donald Trump have had a falling out over Jeffrey Epstein.

If he's lost Marge, Donald is in real trouble over the Epstein Files.

They say in poker, “If you’ve been in the game 30 minutes and you don’t know who the patsy is, you’re the patsy.”

And most MAGAs don't even have a clue what a patsy is or that they are victims of this current administration.

When trump leaves office or is forced out [more likely], the Democrat President, whomever she or he will be, should immediately assign an architect to reconfigure the 'ballroom' into offices and people-meeting spaces. It would be relatively easy to convert it to a two-floor space with offices again.

So DRT inflicts financial pain on US consumers by tariff fiat on bananas, beef, coffee, other imported essentials. Tariffs act like a levy taxing everyone's ability to pay. Now he wants to be 'more pocket friendly' to his constituencies so he's thinking of cutting tariffs....WTF?

Video and shout "The whole world is watching, the whole world is watching"! That was late '60s-early '70s rallying cry!

We have interior door hinges made in China. They squeak, no about of graphite helps the problem.
I wonder if Chinese naval ships "squeak"? They might....
My @navalnews.com write-up on Type 076 LHA Sichuan (31) going to sea for the first time today. The large amphibious carrier, equipped with an EM catapult as a world first, came together in a notably short time and follows commissioning of Fujian a week ago.

Venezuela is not the same kind of 'enemy' as was Grenada during the Reagan era.
Venezuela is a much bigger, a stronger adversary.
Has anyone calculated potential US casualties?
What is the objective?

The things this White House will do to avoid facing the 'Epstein Problem' are quite remarkable!

Greenland said no. But maybe Venezuela will say "si, si, señor" with enough military 'persuasion'?

Don Davis [N.C.1] has had his district gerrymandered into a GOP trending district by the NC General Assembly last month. He is in survival-mode. He has to be able to figure out how to remain in office next year in order to aid his current constituents.
The six Dems who voted with the GOP in the House.

Fetterman may be one of those "show me the money" Senators?
Yeah, I think he is.
Hope he's okay and all that. Still, I think it'd be funny if after this he became some sort of left-wing firebrand.
John Fetterman was taken to the hospital after suffering from a “ventricular fibrillation flare-up” and falling near his home

Reagan was not always senile.
Bush was mostly incompetent.
Nixon became a criminal by following his baser instincts.
Trump was, is and will always be a pile of horse dung.

When in Rome, do as the Romans do.
Looks like Caesar’s Palace circa 1982 before it was remodeled.

Imagine what he has in store for the ballroom. Holy shit!

Tariffs are either "distortionary taxes" that will lead to lower growth (and this will eat into the revenue), or they are distortionary in ways that will allow the circumvention of the tariffs and therefore not raise much revenue (or some combination of both). - Brookings Institution

You cannot have a great country without a great Post Office. Let that sink in.
United States Postal Service delivering since 1775. Let that sink in, the years of service multiplied by the number of employees with the service they have provided.
Amazing. And so recognized.

A historic shutdown is nearly over. It leaves no winners and much frustration.

What was the effing point of it, other than to inflict pain on one's political enemies?
A historic shutdown is nearly over. It leaves no winners and much frustration
The longest government shutdown in history could conclude as soon as Day 43 with almost no one happy with the final result.

He spoke this evening on PBS News Hour and what he is positing rings true - people must speak up and must act. Militarization of governance by DRT can kill our democracy.
One-Sentence Summary:
Judge Mark L. Wolf explains his resignation from the federal bench after four decades of service, citing Donald Trump's politicization of the Justice Department and the erosion of the rule of law as the reasons he can no longer remain silent under judicial ethical constraints.
