There’s nothing worse than an email that begins: “We’re updating our terms and conditions…” And then you wonder should you spend an hour reading them to see how you’ll be affected, and terrified if you don’t you’ll pay for it later.

Bad news for chefs. Next up replace waiters and us diners can save on tips.
Robots can now flip burgers, fry chicken, create pizzas, make sushi, prepare salads, serve ramen, bake bread, mix cocktails and do much more.

And more advanced concepts are in the works to automate the entire kitchen for fine dining.
Robots are coming to the kitchen − what that could mean for society and culture
Can automated restaurants still be community and cultural spaces, or will they become feeding stations for humans? These and other questions loom, as AI and robot cooks reach the market.

Depressing statistic. Speaking as a proud Munsterman we really need to pay more than lip service to female candidates. After all, look at the hames Irish men have made of the country.
Munster constituencies elect 46 TDs.

In 2024 the numbers are -
Men: 42. Women: 4.

Took a break from here during the election although I watched TV coverage. I have great admiration for any politicians who put in the hard yards. It’s an often thankless task. Congrats to the winners even if you’re the wrong persuasion! #GE24.
