Despite the circumstances, I'm having a nice time with my brothers and dad. I haven't spent this much time with both my brothers together in years, and we've been going out each day, which my dad seems to like. We saw a Beryl Cook exhibition today in Plymouth, which was really nice. Lotsa boobs.

I'm in my dad's living room! haven't slept really but everything is calm and under control thanks to my brothers, and my dad is doing as well as can be expected under the circumstances.

I got a call saying "#hw didn't get off the bus, is he coming to afterschool today?" and then, 1min later, "uh, sorry about that, he did get off the bus and is definitely here, I don't know why they told me he didn't get off the bus" so THAT was a shot of adrenaline that I didn't need

Me and #hw cleared, cleaned, and reorganized the spices in the kitchen today and wiped down all the surfaces. HW loves cleaning - you just have to say "I have a HUGE PROJECT and ONLY YOU CAN HELP - I need help STACKING AND ARRANGING THE BOTTLES" or whatever and he's all in.

I know that brains work differently from each other but when my child goes upstairs, instructed to get socks (because he stood in the wet patch he was told not to stand in), he goes into his room, stands in the dark for a full minute staring into his full sock drawer, then reports he can't find any.

Thanks for being nice to me yesterday guys, I'm feeling much better today. #hw and I walked all the way home from his afterschool; it was lovely, his stamina is much better now, we chatted the whole way home, and he only fell over six or seven times.

Update: I charmed the building manager with whom I bonded over lego, and he performed some illegal electronics work and now it is working again.
