This is what amounts to an ILLEGAL & indiscriminate funding cut for research centers everywhere. It will mean shuttering labs across the country, layoffs in red & blue states, and derailing lifesaving research on everything from cancer to opioid addiction.

We all need to speak out to save lives.

Lecturing can sometimes be... suboptimal. Help wake those students up with in class application problems. Intro to BN has several collaborative learning activities to accompany each chapter, all designed by @tnewpher.bsky.social. Find them in the Instructor portal, in the "test bank" zip file.

Alt: a man wearing glasses is standing in front of a blackboard and says `` anyone ? '' . This is a clip from the movie Ferris Bueller's Day Off, showing the scene where a teacher calls out attendance in front of an uninterested and disengaged class.
