We’re in this mess in large part bc the average American is uninformed about fundamentals of civics, history, basic biology, economics, etc, and media and the internet are not meeting the moment.

Is anyone organizing teach-ins or similar for the general public, whether irl or online?

As the cruel EOs keep coming, let’s not forget what Russell Vought, the head of OMB told us in 2023 of his goals: "We want the bureaucrats to be traumatically affected. When they wake up in the morning, we want them to not want to go to work because they are increasingly viewed as the villains.”

NEW — In an alarming email last night reviewed by me, Coast Guard members learned that 1,135 members' direct deposit account routing information was compromised due to a data breach from unauthorized access.

It was only discovered because an officer “reported anomalous activity” on their account.
