Just watched Blade Runner 2049. I saw it when it came out, but it hit different this time. I think it may lead me to the belief that whether or not one has a soul is a choice we each make through our own beliefs and actions, how we choose to live our lives.

1/2 - Full on authoritarianism is probable (martial law/insurrection act declared). Then what? National Guard are not ICE. My guess is these are older guys who want to serve their country, not terrorize citizens. But it's still a really bad situation. Is the other side prepared to inflict violence?
