Crockett: I am tired of the white tears. When you compare me to Marjorie Taylor Greene or me to Lauren Boebert, there is no comparison. So the only people that are crying are the mediocre white boys that have been beaten out by people that historically have had to work so, so much harder

I have to say I'm astounded by how much these entitled white boys are getting away with! And I study whiteness for a living!

Senator Andy Kim just went to the USAID building, talked to the security guard there to confirm employees are being barred entry, and then did a press gaggle right there in front to call it out.

This is doing something. This is making an effort on messaging. Other Democratic lawmakers: take notes.

Dear DNC, DSCC, and DCCC:

I don't want to see another fundraising text or email asking for a dollar of mine until I see an actual plan to meet this moment.

Y'all had 11 weeks between the election and inauguration, and there's still no plan. There's no excuse for that.

No plan, no donation.

End of an era, I think.

I've had a #wwoz #BrassPass for 24 years straight of #JazzFest, and I could handle last year's 33% jump in price bc the Stones.

This year, a bunch of acts I've seen a million times or don't care about, and it's still the same price.

I love em all, but it's too much...

Jimmy Carter was the real deal. What a life he lived. Huge thanks to @charlotteclymer.bsky.social for sharing her experience with those paying their respects.
“When was the last time you waited five hours in line for anything? When was the last time you waited three hours? When was the last time you did this in the freezing cold? When was the last time you did it without any expectation of a tangible reward?”

President Biden should order the National Archivist to publish and certify the Equal Rights Amendment. I doubt it'll hold up in the courts, and I don't care. Make it a problem for the GOP. Force them to explain why women aren't equal in our Constitution. What is there to lose?
