If you want to build a society around solidarity & non-zero-sum cooperation, you have to find a way to go around these folks, to deny them power, to develop social norms that marginalize them. You're not going to persuade or convert them.

I don't really believe in limits on immigration to begin with, but conceding that we DO have such limits: deportation is a monstrous and inhumane means of enforcing them, and should be abolished, ~without exception

EU har efter otaliga år av krig inte ens lyckats avbryta handeln med ett ekonomiskt obetydligt land där sanktionerna inte skulle göra någon betydande skillnad i tillvaron. En invasion av Grönland skulle leda till ett ännu mer omfattande icke-agerande.

När SJ ställer in tåg ”på grund väderlek” en dag då inga vädervarningar råder på sträckan hade det ju varit hjälpsamt om man kunde begära återbetalning direkt i appen och inte behöva ringa kundtjänst och köa i två timmar.
