Last night, after teaching at the University Kendo Club, a few of us were talking about One Piece. One of the new/prospective students asked me who my favourite character was.
Naturally, I said Chopper, and I swear I have never seen someone lose respect for me quicker in my entire life!

About 20 years ago, when I was living in the US, a couple of friends and I went to see Spider-Man 3 (don't judge). At the point where emo Parker slaps MJ, the entire cinema gasped.
...except for one large black man, who sternly said, "PETERRRRRRRR!", in his best disapproving parent voice.

Got me thinking.. What's the strongest reaction you've seen an audience member have to a scene in a cinema?
During the birthday party scene in SIGNS I saw a whole row of young women literally throw their popcorn in the air like a cartoon.

Someone in my audience had a very audible negative reaction to the dog scene in TOGETHER. So that was fun!

We're doing a rewatch of Supernatural on Prime, and it's clear that Amazon were unwilling to pay for the rights to a bunch of the licensed songs, because the soundtrack is all over the place.
It's a good thing we still have our DVDs. (Chalk one up for physical media).
