tbh, when a state attempts to police and ban transition care, any Response that comes down to "well we don't need that and can still be trans", while formally true, is a very conservative one that implicitly gives consent to the state to take away your bodily autonomy & mould you into cisness - bad!

this argument falls apart when the examples they give are currently being banned en masse by said white supremacist & nationalist institutions and the medical industrial complex is imposing cisness as an attempt to mould the body to serve the state against transness, not vice versa
