I watched video lessons on physics for 4 hours straight on YT the other day. Afterwards, with braincells all fried, I proceeded to try to chew my Cola.

Benefits of there barely being any snow in my area anymore: Wheelchair access outside, yay.

Downsides: The terrifying reality of my area having entirely changed climate classification since I was a child.

I went to a pop-up holiday market and this white lady selling hand made ceramic earrings was proudly displaying the political message left by an assassin on bullet casings after a successful murder so that’s a bit of a data point for Where Things Are

All you newbies drawing their first comic and haven't printed their comic before: 300 dpi, CMYK colours, bleed and safety, 0 0 0 100 K black text on a separate layer. Make sure you have all of these on all of your comics files, otherwise you'll end up like me having to fix 660 pages of my webcomic

Definitely. And both are common. And severity of illness/disability seems only mildly related to recognised vs. not recognised at best. @yesthattoo.bsky.social maybe that would be a good thing to collect acadamically sanctioned data on?
Yeah I'd say recognized and not recognized are two specifically different experiences but still both real relevant experiences

Rats are lovely pets, but can be easily spooked. A lot of rats also have poor hearing and vision. So! Here's some infographics I made about how to gently let your rat know you're there before you pet or pick them up - regardless of whether they can see/hear you or not. #rats #petrats #pets

There were some useful comments and suggestions in this thread, I think reposting it like this lets my followers go check it out? Someone following me let me know if this is an easy way you can check out the replies to this post (I'm so new to this UI still)
Any tips for taking advantage of Bluesky's lesser-known features?

For example I didn’t know about moderation lists at first or that you can subscribe to someone else's moderation list to automatically auto-block their blocks.

it would be a lot easier to find art i can post here if my files weren't an absolute mess and if i ever took the time to curate something remotely resembling a portfolio instead of just piling doodles, WIPs, backups, and abandoned pieces in the same place as my complete finished projects...

Yes!! And that just because Adults around a chronically ill child didn't Recognise or Validate their disabilty...doesn't mean it wasn't there. You'd be surprised the extent of disability and illness that adults can somehow write off as nothing-in-particular or something-else-entirely.
So many things about chronic illness are written under the assumption someone Became Disabled as an adult. There has to be recognition that some of us were chronically ill children who grew up to chronically ill adults.
