The Washington Post has published a scathing attack on the NHS, essentially claiming that socialised medicine doesn’t work. Dreadful. The reason the NHS isn’t working well is that politicians are turning the NHS into a cash cow for private companies 🚨

The headline here should say:

"Number of private schools increases by 35 - showing fears of an exodus to be unfounded".

(The increase is mentioned way down the article.)

GB News commentator falsely claims Ukraine war "was all down to NATO" - & wrongly implies there was previously a "signing" by NATO of an agreement not to admit new members "further east". Another suggests Zelensky "wanted more fighting".

I know people want to see those responsible punished, but I'm not sure fining the health authority is thd answer. The only ones that suffer ultimately are the users of that health authority.
Instant dismissal sounds like a far better response & a forfeiture of pension

Well, except for the great sodding boulder that is membership of the single market. But no stone other than that one.
Statement goes on: "UK debt is the second lowest in the G7 and only the OBR’s forecast can accurately predict how much headroom the government has - anything else is pure speculation"...and says Reeves is going to leave "no stone unturned in her determination to deliver economic growth".

One issue with X which I’m surprised doesn’t attract more scrutiny and scepticism when users read posts, is that blue tick accounts can be monetised. There is a financial incentive to post the most inflammatory views possible. I’m not convinced people even believe what they write anymore.
