How long will these massive buildings be used and what will they become when they are abandoned? They will be, as the need will decrease due to competition and efficiency.

A PR firm hired to produce ads in support of the CBC is the same firm that has, for years, been calling for the public broadcaster to be defunded through its right-wing Canada Proud Facebook pages, a @rorywh.bsky.social investigation finds.
The same firm ran a campaign to save CBC — and Canada Proud's push to defund it
“It's like the Trump administration promoting Biden in an ad campaign,” said Ahmed Al-Rawi, Director of the Disinformation Project at Simon Fraser University. “This is unreal, like science fiction.”

Codes of Conduct are required for students to workers. Surely our elected officials can conduct themselves safely & respectfully

When conduct violations are found, public trust is destroyed. Trust which is already below 40% in politicians in Canada.

Do better. Do something! Otherwise, resign.

Dear Spotify.

Can you please add a block function so I can keep awful podcasts from playing every damn time list runs out? Same awful podcast plays despite me not following, not liking, or even with my one star review. They don't deserve the download.

Will said pipeline want reduced taxes once it is constructed?

Using TMX as an example, they spent nine years working towards lowering local taxes beginning almost as soon as the pipeline came online. If this happens, municipal taxes in all communities will rise substantially.

If yes, then no.

To be blunt, you need to do something to achieve the vision.

Here's a challenge: For every project that comes forward to improve traffic congestion or road safety, there must be an equal spend on pedestrian, accessibility, cycling, or on MUP.

Kamloops is quickly becoming a Vision Narrow city.
City council adopted #VisionZero but has yet to find it. Here’s a clear example why improvements matter. #Kamloops

And still no plans or incentives from our federal and provincial governments to help people choose bikes instead of cars. Quite the opposite, actually.

You will lose very little leaving X and Meta platforms, if you focus on your own.

Your earned audience on those channels is only available for a price on Meta and X. Their audiences are in decline and platforms malfunctioning.

People overestimate how many social media users post harmful content online, but underestimate how vocal they are. This can be a PR problem because when comms decisions are driven by misperception, organizations overreact, misallocate resources, and cater to extremes rather serve the mainstream.

As a former provincial staffer who worked in many buildings, there were many little critters in our spaces. The buildings were mostly over 100 years old with loads of hidden spaces.

I also had the oldest everything - desk, chair, computer, floor, etc. of any point in my career. #Canada

It's an uncomfortable truth I had to bear working in health care. Children die from the flu, it's not fear mongering, its truth.
Three kids dead this month, just in our region.

It's never too late to start masking again, get your vaccinations and clean the air. Get a HEPA for your home this holiday season (if you can) and crack a window/run a fan. Wash your hands religiously.

All these measures prevent Covid, too!
