Happy to say that there are a LOT of people in person voting, at least 2 locations in Southern OC tonight. (I mean… hopefully lots of Yes on 50)

I haven’t been keeping up with Tiny Desks as much this year.

What are some of the performances that need to be seen & heard from this year so far?

So relieved to have a POTUS that is so knowledgeable that he describes things as “super duper advanced” 🫠

I would completely believe you if you told me there is additions of Prince vocals on Anderson Paak’s song “Cheers” from the Oxnard album. (Especially at the end…)

Guess I’m gonna do a deep dive right now.

The tragic Challenger disaster. In my science class that was taught by one of the teachers who nearly made it to the final group to be onboard. Quite the emotional class day for all of us.

I don’t think anyone is prepared for what they just did w/ ICE.

This is not a simple budget increase. It is an explosion - making ICE bigger than the FBI, US Bureau of Prisons, DEA,& others combined.

It is setting up to make what’s happening now look like child’s play. And people are disappearing.

We’ve bombed Iran. And dismantled our joint terrorism task force. And sent a third of the FBI to help ICE. And gutted the National Security Council. And a drunk guy is in charge at the pentagon. And our intelligence allies probably won’t share intel with us. Because people couldn’t vote for a woman.

Readers, I am not the boss of any of you but I can’t suggest enough to get into book clubs. Even if it’s 4 people strong. People who read and align with you. And find whatever way to talk with voices after you finish the books (not just via text). It’s so lovely for us to commune with one another 1/

9 years since Prince is gone. If you haven’t listened to / watched his performance of Radiohead’s “Creep” at Coachella, I present this as yet another opportunity to recall his brilliance and his love for music youtu.be/NFXZNt4oLkE

When you look at the list of institutions they want to defund: libraries, museums, the Smithsonian, public schools, PBS, NPR, archives, you can clearly see that the real threat to an authoritarian regime is an informed and educated public

I walked into my local B&N yesterday and they were putting up all the stuff and as I walked through a wall of purple fringe curtain and thought: oh! You know what would have been GREAT for this purple decoration?? 🤔

I’ll solve the puzzle for you. The answer is Oathbound.
I want everyone to pay attention to how different the release of Sunrise at the Reaping is to the release of Oathbound
Both are part of bestselling series. Both are YA. Both deserve to have strong marketing campaign/ publisher support
Do you think both are being handled well?
