This is super disappointing. As a sports fan I have been watching people from all over the world be enthusiastic in great moments for over 40 years… not a single one has done anything resembling the n@z! Salute. Not a one.

I did anything and everything today OTHER than pay any attention to the news. Had a nice date with my wife, read some Martin Luther King speeches, went to a used bookstore… I’ll catch up tomorrow.

I really really am not one for conspiracy theories… but I don’t have to bend myself like a pretzel to see through the Saran Wrap this is all inside. It’s clear as day. Utter ridiculousness to show us a bit of what we are in for with the gov’t over the next ____ years.

I have so many because I wouldn’t have restarted a reading era of my life without Booktok. Period.

I’ll go with Love Songs of W.E.B. Du Bois. My fave read of 2023. It “scares” a lot of people away because it’s over 800 pages, but I would spend 800+ more in that world and those characters.
