Bomenkap in Deurne gaat voorlopig door, ondanks geëscaleerd protest: “Donderdag uitspraak over vergunning”
In Deurne-Zuid is het protest tegen de bomenkap woensdag geëscaleerd. Van een menselijke ketting, tot een ontruimde Drakenhoflaan, met als resultaat vijf mensen die door de massaal aanwezige politie zijn opgepakt en nog twee die in het ziekenhuis zijn beland. Na een korte onderbreking op de middag werden de bomen wel verder gekapt. De Raad voor Vergunningsbetwistingen doet pas donderdag een uitspraak.
