What does the future look like with so many people experiencing brain fog?

Otago University, New Zealand, 2023 study:

- 40% of the undergraduate students reported brain fog due to COVID

- 37% of the undergraduates exhibited impaired cognition up to 17 months post-infection

Notably 89% female
"Data revealed novel evidence that previously infected students exhibited distinct prefrontal haemodynamic patterns during cognitive engagement, reminiscent of those observed in adults four decades older, and this appeared to be especially true if they reported experiencing brain fog due to #COVID

Please note that most of this data is also collected and vulnerable in modern ICE cars… there is no reason particularly why it should just be an EV thing!

COVID-19 appears to cause lasting brain impacts in young adults, according to this new study. Among 94 undergrads:

40% reported “brain fog.”
37% showed measurable cognitive impairments up to 17 months later, especially in executive functions.
