This is what I’m talking about when I talk about technologies of liberation

This required careful measurement and design

Amen
man I’m sorry to be all corny here but when I see a “the city is beautiful! There’s more to it than homeless people!” I gotta say you know who’s also beautiful? People who have no place to live & are trying to get by in a system that has turned its back on them & if you don’t see that that’s on you

Courage and clarity — wow
Rep. Delia Ramirez to DHS officials: "I have as much respect for you as I do for the last white men who put on masks to terrorize communities of color. I have no respect for the inheritors of the Klanhood and the slave patrol. Those activities were criminal and so are yours."

The Heritage Foundation has released a 250-year roadmap to “save America.”

The document is a how-to guide for subjugating girls & young women: a detailed plan to push them out of college, funnel them into early marriage and motherhood, and then trap them there.

WATCH: “Where’s my kid gonna go, Gino? He’s in Kindergarten.”

Rep. Gino Bulso’s HB 1491 requires Tennessee public schools to teach the Bible in K-12 — he defends it by saying parents can “opt out”, but doesn’t seem to have thought through what that actually means for young kids.

Disgusting. To tell her faith leader constituents not to talk about morality shows exactly how twisted with power a public servant can become. Do better, Connecticut
This link has been updated to include our broadcast audio. Listen to hear some of the back and forth between DeLauro and the faith leaders, including DeLauro's simple declaration: "If the vote comes up, I will not vote to abolish ICE. I am telling you that."

In Springfield, Ohio, people are preparing in advance of a “large deportation” promised by the president. To all appearances, the city is 2 or 3 days from a federal ethnic cleansing, grounded in a hate campaign organized by the vice-president and American Nazis.

Someone said protests don’t belong in church and it took every ounce of self-censure within me not to say “Deborah you are literally a Protestant.”
