I regularly see people wondering how it's possible that there are so many musicians and writers and film makers and artists from a tiny nation like Iceland.
And the answer is really simple: State funding for art education and artists. I literally get a salary from the government to write books.

Space was not an easy commute, not yet. May never be, not in her lifetime. Any mission that took someone to space was made as long as possible, if only to get the best value out of it.

Once the filter handle was inserted with a firm rotation, the button pressed that started trickling steaming dark-brown liquid in to a cup below, he turned and moved to where the selection of cakes and pastries were kept behind a glass display. 'Poppy seed?'
