Yikes, called it on YouTube yesterday, Adrian Newey is now Aston Martin team principal for 2026 - Andy Cowell moves to being "Chief Strategy Officer" and is working tighter to Honda.

Newey as a team principal is an odd choice. He has never done it before and it splits his responsibilities. I can see it changing mid year or after January when the official verdict of the Horner case in the courts.

the trouble with looking at the results of past F1 races without looking at the context of the race is that you would think Qatar is not a good track for Norris.

this is a niche skeet. finally got one of the new trains in to London on SWR trains... I am 6 foot 3. and no longer fit in any seat apart from facing seats and then I have to be on good terms with the person opposite. really makes me want to travel into London for work again.

I dont get the Virtual Safety Car rules. Gap between Norris and Piastri when it started. 3.3 seconds. When it ended. 0.6... and well within striking distance. Nothing mentioned.

that was like an old school F1 race. Circa mid 2000's. tense but the winner never really in doubt... also... the Lawson train at then end reminded me of the Trulli Train IYKYK
