Un américain à Paris, Cole Mitchek, a créé cette belle vidéo de Myriam Gendron lors de son dernier passage là-bas. Un moment hors du temps.

I hadn’t thought about Fellini, the cafe bar next to Satyricon, for along time before reading this article. I remember Jackie-O Motherfucker playing weekly brunch sessions for a while there in the early 2000s. What a place.

I subconsciously chose to listen to this last weekend while cleaning up the mess my dead garage fridge left and it was perfect.
rec of the day WATER DAMAGE "instruments" (12XU 2LP) with grubbs & shiroishi along for the ride, these TX tornadoes swap some of their drones for a psychedelic pulse rumble, creating 4 more sides of instrumental yearning & delivery. bang your head slowly.

With huge thanks to David @obsofdeviance.bsky.social I now have all three of Richard Berry’s private-press late 60s* live LPs. If you’re wondering why that’s a big deal, lend an ear.

*They’re undated but that’s my guess.

On the radio this week I focused on John Whitson's visionary Holy Mountain label as he prepared to merge with the infinite. I wanted to stir up some positive energy for his travels the best way I know—by sharing music. It's a small sample of an amazing catalog. Enjoy www.mixcloud.com/jeff-conklin...
