most likely something like a field crop worker or a gardener.
if i ported virara to our world and her childhood followed a similar path, she would not have had the familial, personal or economic resources to pursue her true passion, entomology.

In a modern, real world setting, adventurers aren't really a thing, and Warriors of Light certainly aren't, either. What, then, would your WoL/OC do for a living? What other traits from XIV would be adapted into the real world? (ex. loving chocobos becoming loving ostriches)

in my experience writing virara with other rpers, it varies a lot
she's working against a natural disadvantage, being an intimidating -lalafell.- but her actions speak for her.
many find her disarming appearance and doll-like behavior deeply unsettling once they witness her fighting at least once.

a bar with high stools and no visible floor, only darkness. you awaken there seated with no memory of how or when you arrived. igor's assistant takes on the form of the bartender.

BATHS, it's one of Virara's few indulgences and she takes it very seriously. Ideally, she would soak in a cypress bath or hot spring, despite those being absurdly large for her, (she prefers to have a lot of space...) but she will settle for porcelain/metal tubs, or even a ceruleum drum-can bath.

I had Front Mission 3 at release. I actually had no idea it had come out and I saw it at the store and immediately picked it up. It is, genuinely, a fascinating and ambitious game for its time, and unquestionably a pre-9/11 story.

about the only thing that could get me to make a proper alt outside of virara is some kind of cool bug humanoid.
the gnath are okay, but my aesthetics skew much closer to ravana.
this will never happen though because i imagine exoskeleton-wearing races would make most armor look awkward.
