about the only thing that could get me to make a proper alt outside of virara is some kind of cool bug humanoid.
the gnath are okay, but my aesthetics skew much closer to ravana.
this will never happen though because i imagine exoskeleton-wearing races would make most armor look awkward.

i'm reminded of this chart i did some time ago back on the other site where i showed that virara is basically totally incapable in any crafting profession aside from culinarian, and that one she's not good at so much as food-motivated so she *could* be good at it but only to feed herself.

I feel it's almost misleading to call it 'self-confidence' so much as an overwhelming monomania. Virara lacks arrogance and is aware she doesn't understand many things in life. But one thing she does understand is Master's martial art and in this she's never doubted herself even once.

i want to say that virara would be the one random extra who is trained in martial arts.
like how in babylon 5 during any barfight scene it always cuts to the one guy doing jumping spin kicks.
(played by the same stuntman i bet)
but she wouldn't get involved, barfights are for the undisciplined.

the only way these doofuses could get virara to help is if she was starving (as she often is) and they offered her a ton of food as reward for helping them.

But if she was told "it's equipment for learning 'cuteness,'" then she'd wear it without question. She must understand and master this arcane psychological attack.

21, give or take a year, due to not knowing when she was born. Her perceived age tends to vary wildly depending on the observer. Virara is extremely tall for her race, yet maintains a youthful aspect, and in some regards, mindset. Lalafell tend to overshoot her age; other races undershoot it.

i remember there was a question circulating on the other site one day about whether your character would use the full spread of formal utensils and plates correctly and i found this diagram i made of what Virara sees and thinks at the table.
