I threw together a starter pack of poker people I found/recognized here. They may not all be active right now, but perhaps gaining followers will wake them up... Please suggest more if you know of any good ones!

They gave Balatro an 18+ only rating because it had poker cards in it.

Disney Solitaire has literal actual real money gambling with dark pattern lootbox microtransactions and is for ages 3 and above.

One of my favorite poker memories was seeing a man notice, mid-hand, that a Christmas special was on one of the TVs. He folded out of turn, whipped out his phone, and said, "Yo, turn on the DVR. They showin' the Grinch!"

I've never made it through a Pynchon novel. But I suppose curiosity about what I was missing was part of the appeal. Mostly it was just what was playing on the rare occasion that I was inclined to see a movie.

Inherent Vice in the middle of the day at a theater in the Castro (SF). The film was delightfully surreal and unsettling, a feeling that stayed with me I walked out of the theater into a crowd of naked people protesting something or other.
Raising the always fun question: What are your most memorable theater-going experiences?

Mine also include The Matrix, Blair Witch, and being way too stoned in Belgium when Fellowship of the Ring was sold out so we sat in the back row for Mulholland Drive instead.
It was hands-down one of the most memorable theater-going experiences I can remember, a collective 30-minute butt-clench/armrest-grab for the final climb. And we knew he lived! Wild.

I'm not sure why, but this episode is cut short on Spotify. There's a link in the quoted post where you can stream the entire episode. Sorry for the hassle!
