A thirst for knowledge, a hunger for truth, and a passion for enriching life
The cinema universe lost one of the absolute legends in filmmaking. Unafraid to push boundaries while still connecting to audiences with compelling storytelling, his impact and contributions will forever reverberate through all of cinema. May David Lynch rest in peace.

I don't think it was pain that made him so great, I think painting brought him whatever happiness he had.

RIP David Lynch

It’s difficult to put into words just how much I adore and appreciate this movie.

Everyone experiences the pain of struggling with family, feeling confused about their purpose, and confronting the absurd insignificance of their tiny life within the scope of this infinite universe.

…so be kind 👀

I have some advice for young people who are understandably upset with the TikTok ban. youtu.be/agTG_tB1DL8
That a Chinese app is getting banned doesn't make China a free speech refuge, lol.

Still have a good amount of movies to get to from this past year, but I’ve been able to sit with my thoughts about Eggers’ Nosferatu and viewing the discourse around the film (being that it’s so widely talked about) I believe it to be arguably the most important film released in 2024. #Nosferatu

I apologize for not giving this site more attention.

Something addictive about raging over right wing disinformation campaigns on X.

I’ll try and do better, and enjoy the bluer skies more.

If your goal as a progressive commentator is to charm Dark MAGA billionaires and oligarchs and launder their image from what they are (robber barons) to working class heroes, you are hopelessly naive. They’re trying to STEAL America’s treasure not help the American people.

It’s kind of incredible how long we’ve been forced to accept social media platforms that are openly hostile to their own users, suppress political content, and throttle third party links.

Remember, the whole point of activism is to translate, ultimately, into policy. And policy is determined by lawmakers, who depend on your vote to get elected.

Nothing else matters if you don't participate in the system.

Remember when George Santos valiantly returned to the Capitol on Matt Gaetz's behalf to advocate for an accused child sex predator? And then Gaetz withdrew anyway and now Santos is just on record having supported an alleged statutory rapist? Hope it was worth it!

It’s similar to the concept of the ever expanding universe that most galaxies are or will be traveling away from us faster than the speed of light and eventually we won’t be able to ever see them again let alone reach them. Socially we’re ever expanding away from opposing beliefs.

My theory on this is that, unconsciously, as has been happening with increasing social atomization and factious politics, many of us are seeking refuge in echo chambers while the few profit from this demand, which will only serves to make us more and more socially distant from differing ideas.

Difficult to describe what a dangerous moment we are in.

The owner of Twitter/richest man in the world/closest adviser to the next US president is promoting a far-right Tommy Robinson (!) documentary to his 200 million followers.

This is the mainstreaming of violent, Islamophobic fascism.

8/ I hope for better days while I brace myself for the worst that has yet to come, but is now at our very doorstep. And I will continue to educate myself and improve my situation so I can hopefully be apart of helping others because it is going to be needed more than ever in the coming years.

7/ Now we will recede from our position from the global stage as the superpower who led the world, and our pettiness will have us continue to politicize/factionalize over even that, as the devastating effects of it will impact the everyday citizen.
