Time for an intro thread for those that don't know me from twitter or Facebook or anywhere else.
I am Gloria, a 57 year old disabled transgender lesbian.
Late transitioner thanks to my conservative parents attempts at conversion therapy. 16 years transitioned now and 9 post op, and life is good

The wife is off to visit a neighbour, giving her my phone to charge so it doesn't die in the night if the electrician doesnt turn up. It's been 3 hours and not heard anything yet. 😬

Housing association have called in another electrician, now more waiting. 😱
Scratch that, they called back and can't do us till tomorrow morning. Back on hold to the housing association to get emergency power somehow.
An electrician will be with me in 3-4 hours. At least I know what's going on.

Phoned the housing association again, apparently someone is on the case and I have to wait for them to phone me back this morning. I hope they dont take too long, I've managed to charge my phone a bit from my laptop, but its not going to last all day.

Electrician blew another main fuse finding the problem. Got to phone first thing for the day service that will be equipped to fix it, hope my phone battery lasts.

Managed to blow out our electrics somehow. My phone is on 26% and they said it could take up to six hours to get an engineer out.

Trans folk and allies, flood this. It won’t stop them doing irreparable damage to trans kids in schools but in twenty years when this gets studied we’ll be able to say they knew the consequences and how poorly received it was.
