I had to take BC for this same reason; fibroids. Was on it for 2yrs. Then one day, I decided to stop taking them to just let my body breathe, the heavy bleeding ended up stopping too. I'm actually afraid to get an updated ultrasound to see if the fibroids are still there or if they've "disappeared"

Birth control is so important for women like me who have fibroids, heavy bleeding, and painful ovulation. It’s also important for the baddies who simply don’t want to get pregnant. Simply put, mind your own body.
