Nigel Farage doesn’t think the Prime Minister should have free speech in this country. But he’ll tell foreigners that yours is somehow under threat from the Prime Minister. He’s a whiny little liar. Always has been. Always will be.

Farage’s evidence that Muslims want to takeover London: Wait for it. Taxi drivers. In Buckinghamshire. I’ve heard taxi drivers tell me lampposts are watching us, Covid was a scam and Aston Villa will win the premier league!!

Before politicians and media get themselves into a mess. Let me clarify. For most Muslims, Sharia means living ethically, praying, and giving to charity. Any councils are advisory and are not above the law and are no different to Jewish Beth Din courts that have existed in the UK since the 1800s.

Britain could learn something from the passing of cricket umpire Dickie Bird. He brought us all together, during the toughest of battles he was fair and honest. Across the globe in former colonies he is much loved. Hard to think of a more popular Englishman. Rest well Dickie. (Photo: 2008)

Angela Rayner accidentally pays less tax than she should have, resigns, and the media gives her hell.

Nigel Farage deliberately pays less tax than he should have, and the media gives him a free pass.

That, right there, is the problem.

It’s 34 years to the day since this remarkable sequence of chances ended with an Anders Limpar goal against Man City.

Things to love here:

Brian Moore on comms
Tony Coton’s save
The cameraman struggling to keep up as the ball flies everywhere

Fantastic stuff.

It’s completely extraordinary that after the riots of last year, the populist right are trying to whip up hatred of asylum seekers again. Utterly shameful.

Absolutely gutted to read about Mike Peters - spoke with him quite a few times over the decades and he was such a lovely bloke. All we can do now is respect the almighty fight he put up and think back fondly of so many great nights in concert. RIP
