It's heartbreaking that 2 members of the National Guard have died. It's doubly heartbreaking, because they should never have been there in the first place.
I wish they had known that they could have said "No" to this illegal deployment & just gone home.

The fact this is not top story being played everywhere shows how far we’ve already fallen. Children being torn from their beds in the middle of the night should be dominating every headline - but silence is exactly how people let things happen. History shows us where this leads when we look away.
