In 1863, Lincoln boldly declared, “A government of the people, by the people, for the people.” Fast forward 161 years, and it’s clear we now have a government of the billionaires, by the billionaires, for the billionaires. What a betrayal of the very ideals that once defined our democracy.
If we believe in the Constitution, we believe in it even when the speech makes us uncomfortable.

Walkouts are political speech.
Political speech is exactly what the First Amendment protects.
If enforcement becomes about silencing a viewpoint instead of neutrally applying rules, that is retaliation.
You cannot teach the Constitution in civics class and then punish students for exercising it. ⬇️
