Pleased to see BBC coverage for the concerns of Dorset residents about this proposal to build over 3000 homes. By contrast, I am amazed at the indifference of BCP residents, (south-east Dorset), where it is planned to build 24,000 homes when there is no space!

Some good news! My town, BCP (Bournemouth, Christchurch and Poole), has just won some National Lottery Heritage Funding to become a Nature Town. Wahoo! I do hope that will help stop the current plan to build a gazillion houses over every remaining blade of grass ....

This seems a better way to deal with excess waste than incinerating it to produce energy. Yet we really need to focus on the problem of generating too much waste! Regulation is required, as well as changing shopping habits.

Why has this taken so long to become politically acceptable? Personally, I think all new homes should have solar and that the roofs need to be oriented to make the maximum gain. 🌞
