Lovely to see quite a few patches of this unusual parasitic plant on Canford Heath yesterday. Dodder - Cuscuta epithymum.
I had a lovely cycle along the miles and miles of Bournemouth Bay yesterday, but when I stopped to do a bit of beachcombing, I noticed that there were hardly any sea shells. Such a difference from when I was a child! Dredging, fishing, pollution and climate change are taking their toll on our seas.
