Since the Democrats worked extra hard to hide who actually supported this, I think the No Kings/Resistance position should be to primary every Democrat unless they publicly call for Schumer's ouster this week

This! We elect representatives to represent us! If we have to march in the streets for every vote, then we might as well have a direct fucking democracy.
look I know being an engaged citizen IS the work of democracy but it is also the work of elected officials not to create situations where everyone has to be mobilized all the time to prevent them from allowing some kind of Dickensian horror on a Sunday night while you're in between loads of laundry

Primary everyone. I don’t care if they’re voting no. I trust absolutely none of the dems in this Congress. They’re utter failures, every last one. Oh? You’re one of the good ones? You’ve spoken out against the problems? I don’t trust you. Sorry, but time to clean house.

Deciding that you want to starve people to try to get more for yourself despite having the means to feed everyone is actually pretty on-brand for the American oligarchy, ngl.

Isn’t it weird how people who claim to be free and independent political thinkers always seem to use the same tired platitudes? How many times I’ve seen, “The Left wing and Right wing belong to the same bird!” Yea, real original thought you stole, there.

Is “copium” still a thing?

Hmm, I wonder what was going on in and around the (I’m assuming politically stable) year of 1969 that may have led to such huge turnouts… may never know!
Two million votes were cast in New York’s mayoral race with 15 minutes remaining until the polls closed, according to the NYC Board of Elections.
It's the first time 2 million New Yorkers voted in local elections since 1969, the board said.

Going through my usual cycle of doing something successfully, wanting to do it again, and then thinking, “what if I did the same thing but WAY BIGGER?!?!” This time it’s “I successfully directed a 5K. Going to do it again next year. What if I ALSO directed a half marathon?!?!”

The proliferation of AI fakes is seriously an existential threat. And I’m honestly not sure how to combat it aside from some kind of Butlerian-Jihad-level shifts. I think our world is going to look VERY different in five years because of this.

Just misspelled Shuttlesworth as Shittlesworth, and while that is certainly an affront to the memory of the civil rights leader, it is somewhat accurate to the airport.
