The fact that tarrifs are on the top of front pages consistently while people getting abducted off the streets for their free speech without due process is relegated far lower should tell us everything about where much of the media establishment sees our priorities as a society.

To be very clear: I take no solace whatsoever from the fact that they are morons. They successfully took power & are successfully destroying the country right in front of us. They are evil morons, with a plan, breaking the law on purpose. Being morons is no particular impediment!

The most obvious lesson to draw from the leaked Signal chat is that these people really are morons. It's not a public act, it's not a schtick, there's not some secret back room where they drop the facade. They are genuinely stupid, incompetent people.

This is what happens when you have an entire cabinet full of folks who would NEVER pass a regular security clearance.
